About Nadia H. Kawash
I am passionate about self-healing, wellness and helping people take charge of their health and placing it back into their own hands and getting them to feel good about themselves again.
Educating people about what a healthy relationship with food entails and how it affects their well-being, together we strive to achieve the goals set by them to begin their journey towards a healthier “You”.
My interest as a Holistic Health Coach started at a later stage in my life. I have a BA in Finance and Economics, from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and after a few years decided to go back to school and study Interior Design from The Inchbald School of Design, London. I had a successful career in interior design and it was not until my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 multiple myeloma after complaining so many times to her doctors that she was not feeling well & her doctors dismissing her because she looked fine. They were looking at standard reference ranges vs optimal Functional Medicine reference ranges. It ignited in me a passion to look and search for the underlying root causes of what doctors were missing and understanding how these imbalances if gone untreated for some time will eventually lead and cause disease.
I pursued a Nutrition Qualification Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, Cornell University, and later earned my degree as a Certified Health Coach from the largest nutrition school in the USA, The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. This certification recognizes me as Board Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I also am a leading bioenergy therapist from the world-famous acclaimed school, The Domancic Method, and PureBioenergy.
I further continued my studying to be a Functional Medicine Practitioner from the Institute For Functional Medicine, USA, which deals with finding the root cause of someone’s problem and addressing the issues through making changes in their diet and lifestyle, the holistic way, and then embarking on medicine to solving the problem.
I am always furthering my education to stay up-to-date with the latest research, courses and testing available out there in the Functional Medicine world to provide the best service and care for my clients.
