During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. Mark Hyman, founder of the UltraWellness Center, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Functional Medicine; Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, a medical doctor with two postgraduate degrees in Neurology and Human Nutrition, author of the GAPS Diet-Gut and Psychology Syndrome; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
Quantum Coaching with Marilena Minucci
I furthered my health coaching degree with Marilena Minucci and have earned the title “Quantum Coach.” This allows me to help clients identify the core issues and limitations facing them, thus making the shift in their lives that will deliver their desired results. This is done through powerful questions that the client reflects upon and then makes the necessary changes to move forward.
Certified GAPS Practitioner
Having been certified under Dr. Natasha Campbell-Mcbride, MD, author of Gut and Psychology Syndrome, I have been given the tools and understanding of how to manage and treat gastrointestinal disorders for clients with developmental disabilities and disorders.
I am able to educate my clients on how the gut works and how poor gut function seriously impacts not only physical health but also brain function.
Institute for Functional Medicine
School of Applied Functional Medicine
Functional Medicine addresses the root cause of disease and engages both patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership. It addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. Functional Medicine considers the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.
I have taken the following courses at IFM:
- Applying Functional Medicine in a clinical practice;
- Introduction to Functional Nutrition – clinical solutions for addressing the underlying causes of disease;
- Functional Medicine – a systems approach to reversing the epidemic of chronic disease
- Immune Advanced Practice Module.
Functional Diagnostic Nutrition
Functional Diagnostic Nutrition is a type of detective work that seeks to identify the underlying causes of disease instead of treating the symptoms. Using functional lab work, we identify healing opportunities and engage each client in a health-building process using the potent, proven, professional protocols in our D.R.E.S.S. for Health Success program. This includes Diet, Rest, Exercise, Supplements and Stress Reduction. This natural approach yields the highest level of positive clinical outcomes.
We don’t medicate, we educate.
With this, I have earned the title FDN Practitioner.
Some of the extra courses I have taken:
- FDN – Advanced Module – SIBO; and,
- FDN – Advance Module – Thyroid Function
- FDN – Advanced Module – Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis.
T. Colin Campbell – Center for Nutrition Studies, Plant-Based Nutrition
This program helps understand the importance of diet and nutrition and the importance of a healthy lifestyle for optimal health that includes the prevention and reversal of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results. With this approach I now belong to the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
I am a leading BIOENERGY therapist from the world-famous acclaimed school in London, The Domancic Method, and PureBioenergy where I received my certifications.
My teacher, Zoran Hochstatter, is the only person allowed by Mr. Domancic to teach his method outside of the the Domancic School and to spread the method globally.
