Meet Nadia

“I am passionate about self-healing, wellness and helping people take charge of their health and placing it back into their own hands and getting them to feel good about themselves again.”

I wasn’t always a Functional Medicine Practitioner — I became one because of personal experiences that reshaped how I understood health.

Over time, I witnessed people I loved struggle with persistent symptoms that were often dismissed or normalized — fatigue, inflammation, weight changes, hormonal imbalance, and a general sense of not feeling well in their own bodies. What struck me most was not only the symptoms themselves, but how rarely anyone paused to ask why they were happening.

That questioning became the starting point of my journey into Functional Medicine — an approach that taught me to see the body not as something broken, but as something constantly communicating.

Today, I work with individuals who want to move beyond surface-level solutions. My role is to help interpret the body’s signals and understand the deeper imbalances behind symptoms, so healing can unfold in a way that is sustainable, personalized, and respectful of the whole person.

Those experiences shaped how I approach my work today. They taught me that healing requires curiosity, patience, and respect for the body’s signals — not rushing, restricting, or forcing change.

The heart of my practice is piecing together every aspect of your life — from functional testing and nutrition to stress, lifestyle, and self-care — to get to the root cause of your health concerns.
Once we understand what’s truly happening in your body, we work together to create a clear, achievable plan that restores balance and supports long-term wellness.

My interest in health and nutrition started at a later stage in my life. I hold a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from George Washington University and also studied Interior Design at The Inchbald School of Design, London. I had a successful career in interior design, and it was not until my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 multiple myeloma that I started to gain interest in holistic health. My mothers’ cancer inspired me to study how to prevent and treat disease through understanding their underlying root causes.

I am a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach specializing in Functional and Integrative Medicine. My background includes advanced certifications from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM), and the Kalish Institute, where I trained in the Three Body Systems approach — neuroendocrine, digestive, and detoxification — under the mentorship of Dr. Dan Kalish.

I am also a licensed Metabolic Balance® Practitioner, helping clients achieve sustainable weight management and metabolic harmony through personalized nutrition.

My passion is uncovering the root causes of imbalance using advanced testing, nutrition, and bio-individual healing strategies — guiding you to feel energized, focused, and confident in your body again. I believe that small, consistent changes create lasting transformation.

My work is grounded in formal training in Functional and Integrative Medicine, supported by advanced certifications from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM), and the Kalish Institute.

At the Kalish Institute, I trained in the Three Body Systems approach — focusing on the neuroendocrine, digestive, and detoxification systems under the mentorship of Dr. Dan Kalish.

I am also a licensed Metabolic Balance® Practitioner, designing personalized nutrition plans that support sustainable weight management and metabolic harmony.

This combination of clinical education and practical experience allows me to look beyond isolated symptoms and assess patterns across the body’s systems with clarity and precision.

Who This Work is For

I work with individuals who are ready to engage with their health in a deeper, more intentional way.

This work is suited to those who value:

  • personal guidance over generic advice
  • understanding over quick fixes
  • long-term wellbeing over short-term results

Healing is not about doing more — it’s about understanding more.

My unique approach to helping my clients includes combining two different approaches: one of a health coach, and another of a functional medicine practitioner. As a health coach, I help empower my clients to set achievable goals, hold them accountable and make the necessary changes to improve their lifestyle.

As a functional medicine practitioner, I help my clients pinpoint their health-related issues, why their bodies are reacting the way they do and what they can do to improve. The way I do this is through diagnostic tests, individual symptoms they are experiencing, personal forms and one-on-on conversations to gain a holistic understanding of my clients. Together, we work to bring back balance to your body and experience better health and wellness.
